The Golden State Warriors have reached a tough patch.
They’ve lost six of their last nine games, and the Houston Rockets are breathing down their necks right now.
Following back-to-back losses to the Indiana Pacers and Minnesota Timberwolves, Steve Kerr’s team is at serious risk of missing the Play-In Tournament.
As a matter of fact, former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes the Rockets are going to get their No. 10 spot and knock them out of contention.
Talking on Undisputed, Johnson talked about how Klay Thompson’s struggles and Draymond Green’s suspensions forced Kerr’s hand to experiment with his rotations.
“I think the Warrors are gonna miss the play-in this year,” Johnson said.

He believes the Warriors now don’t have an identity or even a steady lineup.
The Rockets have won nine of their last ten and eight in a row, and they’re going to square off with the Warriors this week.
That game might decide both team’s fate.
The Warriors have twelve games left in the regular season and are in control of their destiny.
Stephen Curry is still one of the greatest players on Earth and he has a lot of competitive fire and pride, so they could still get hot and close out the season on a high note.
Nonetheless, even if that’s the case, they don’t look like the kind of team that could get the job done in the Play-In Tournament, much less in a seven-game series.
The Rockets, on the other hand, are looking like a legitimate threat in the Western Conference right now, even if most of those wins have come against losing teams.
